#10 I'm happy to share this episode with you where I talked with my friend, Suzie. I know her story will help women who have experienced loss to those who are raising a teenager on their own and trying to balance self-care, work, and home-life. We also talked about her decision to quit drinking at fifty and how it looks different to her than to someone, like me, who is an addicted drinker.
Suz is fifty-one and the hardest worker I know. She pays tribute to her late husband, Jim, by advocating for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and taking part in the Extreme Hike yearly. We talk meal prep, exercise, teenagers, and her determination in getting her self-care plan towards the forefront of her life.
Please try and ignore some of the sound issues we experienced; it's a great conversation, so I'm hoping you will not even notice. xo Lori
