In this episode, I had the honor of talking with Jennifer Mayerle and Susie Wright. Jennifer is the editor and curator of Becoming Media, an online lifestyle magazine for women 45 and over, and Susie Wright is a style expert and fashion editor, and the founder of The Susie Wright Project.
These inspiring women are living life on their terms in their 50's and going after their passions!
We talk about turning 50 and what significance it had on both Jen and Susie. Jennifer shares her story of starting Becoming Media and her weekly newsletter and how it has evolved. Becoming Media focuses on the upside of maturing, not anti-aging and the downfall of aging. Susie talks about taking care of ourselves as we age and that is what makes us feel young - including how we dress.
Jennifer and Susie met in college and reconnected their relationship through Instagram. They partnered up on Becoming Medias weekly newsletter with the addition of a column written by Susie, called So Susie. Susie talks about how our wardrobe starts in our closet and how she helps her clients build from there. We also talk about Instagram, selfies, fashion, and clothing to add to your wardrobe and one key piece we all need.
